Felix is 10 weeks old
Felix is still a tiny kitten despite reaching his 10th week birthday. I was hoping that he’d make a landmark 1kg today but he’s still got another week to go.

Felix has slowed down a bit on his growth. Today he weighed 921g (32oz), that’s an increase of about 20% on last week. I was really hoping that he’d have reached 1kg (2.2 lb) by now. If he puts on another 20% of weight by next week he’ll be 1.1kg then and 11 weeks old.

I think Felix’ head is getting bigger of his body is shrinking. The science says that it isn’t. From ear to ear the gap is just the same 50mm. He doesn’t like being measured and struggles when he sees the tape measure.

Along his back from the base of his head to the first vertebrae of his tail is 235mm (9 1/4″), that a small increase of about 15% on last week and his tail is 115mm, a 4% increase on last week.
So, no great leaps in growth this week but physically he can leap and bound like a big cat and he loves running and hiding.
