Felix is still a tiny kitten despite reaching his 10th week birthday. I was hoping that he’d make a landmark 1kg today but he’s still got another week to go

It’s two weeks since Felix arrived in his new home and I he’s started getting used to the different rooms, playing with toys but still biting and scratching.

I wonder if 9 weeks old is the equivalent of a kitten teenager? Felix is staying up until all hours, biting, scratching and punching and that’s before I even say hello.

I’ve learned a lot in a week about caring for a new kitten. In the first few days, I was worried about his poos and wether he was eating enough. As the week has gone on, I feel a lot more assured that he is a normal healthy kitten.

Wednesday, 6th January 2021 marks Felix’ 8th week birthday.

Felix’ first full day (4th January 2021), was mainly spent sleeping. He is still happy to sleep in his makeshift bed (It’s a well worn black hoodie) on the sofa.

Felix is a tiny black and white cat. He was born in November 2020 and his mother cat is a beige coloured Bengal. He hasn’t got any Bengal markings, but I think he has big fierce paws for a tiny cat.
